Race Star Industries Named Top Dragster Class Sponsor for its Inaugural Season with the Mid-West Pro Mod Series
TULSA, OKLAHOMA - (March 6, 2019) The Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Pro Mod Series (MWPMS) proudly welcomes Race Star Industries as the Top Dragster class sponsor. 2019 kicks off its first season with the Top Dragsters as a part of the MWPMS show. This season will be filled with firsts for the series, and a brand-new sponsor to go along with a brand-new class is just the start.

“Greg and the team over at Race Star Industries have decided that MWPMS was a great place to showcase not only their stellar brand of wheels, but a great place to provide the amazing racer support and customer service they are known for. I am thrilled to be able to announce them as the first ever MWPMS Top Dragster class sponsor.” stated series founder Keith Haney.

“We are ecstatic to be a part of the Mid-West Pro Mod Series in 2019. Customer service is a number one priority to us and being involved with the MWPMS is a great way to do that. With the introduction of our new liner-based wheel this season, there is no better place to do that than right in the middle of the Top Dragster hotbed. Top Dragster driver Danny Nelson is a big part of our program and will be part of the MWPMS in 2019 as well. Our plan is to have a presence at as many if not all of the MWPMS races on the schedule, as our wheels are designed by racers for the racers”, stated Greg Bennett, National Sales Manager.

Race Star Industry is located in the Kansas City area and manufactures high performance alloy wheels for Cars, Trucks and a variety of racing vehicles. Their wheels are no weld, cast aluminum alloy, engineered to truly fit popular Late Model Muscle applications featuring large diameter brake packages. New Lines are constantly being developed, expanding applications through all the early and late model muscle cars focused on aggressive large diameter fitments with “limited” brake caliper modifications required.

Race Star is also featured on the Summit Racing Equipment backed NHRA Pro Stock car of Jason Line, as he sports the Race Star Pro-Forged 16x16 double bead lock and 15x3.5” spindle mount wheels.

MWPMS will showcase 9 events throughout the 2019 racing season, beginning March 8-9 at the famed Texas Motorplex in Dallas, Texas. The series will also conclude at the same facility November 7-9 following the Second Annual “Elite 16” All Star event. All races will be streamed live online via Bangshift.com allowing for maximum exposure for our MWPM series racers as well as Summit Racing Equipment. The recent addition of Top Sportsman and Top Dragster classes will add extra excitement to the 2019 season.

About the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Pro Mod Series

Mid-West Pro Mod series was founded in 2017 by Pro Mod and Radial class racer Keith Haney. Keith is also the co-owner of Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A series created for the racers by a racer to fill a void in the midwest region when it came to pro mod and radial racing. The continued mission of the MWPMS is to put on a superior family show for the fans and racers, along with providing a great place for people to come and race. Mid-West Pro Mod Series started as three classes: Pro Mod, RvW, and X275. Due to Keith’s strong roots in Top Sportsman, MWPMS will expand to five classes in 2019 with the addition of Top Sportsman and Top Dragster. The series is contested eight times a year throughout the midwest, as well as a one-off end of the year blowout called the Elite 16.
