MWPMS Returns to Holley EFI Outlaw Street Car Reunion in 2019 with Special $15K to Win Purse
Bells, TN, (Aug. 8, 2018) – After an extremely successful debut for the Frankenstein Engine Dynamics Mid-West Pro Mod Series (MWPMS) at the Holley EFI Outlaw Street Car Reunion in 2018, Speed Promotions, LLC has announced the 2019 date for the sixth running of the event and we are proud to announce that the MWPMS has been invited back for the second consecutive season on April 10-13th at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

After putting 34 cars on property in the opening season, Speed Promotions, LLC co-owner Tyler Crossnoe and the entire Outlaw Street Car Reunion team is proud to announce a $15,000 to Win payday for the ending champion of the OSCR event in 2019, which is the largest MWPMS points race payout to date and a $5,000 increase over the normal $10,000 payout. “After the debut season of Pro Mod at the Outlaw Street Car Reunion, we are extremely excited to welcome back the Mid-West Pro Mod Series for the 2019 campaign. We as a team sat down and decided to put a special purse together for the MWPMS return to the Holley EFI Outlaw Street Car Reunion, and that’s where the winner will now be enticed with $15,000 to Win,” said Crossnoe.

Along with the increased $15,000 to Win payday up top, the runner-up will receive $3,000 for their efforts, $1,000 to semi-finalists, $750 to quarter-finalists and $500 for qualifying in the top sixteen field. The increase in overall purse is expected to catch the attention of many Pro Modified drivers, including some of the other racers who compete in other organizations like the PDRA, NMCA and possibly even the NHRA ranks.

“The Mid-West Pro Mod Series has organized some of the toughest that Pro Modified doorslammer drag racing has to offer over the last two seasons. With Tyler and his team putting extra money on top of the purse for us to race for, we fully expect to see some new faces running with the MWPMS and under our rule set,” mentioned Keith Haney, owner and founder of the Mid-West Pro Mod Series. “All I have to say is, if they haven’t raced with the series before, they better bring the kitchen sink and then some because our boys do not play around!”

The Holley EFI Outlaw Street Car Reunion VI leads our announcements for the 2019 season and will be held at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky on April 10-13th. They plan to continue close to the same event schedule as before with eliminations wrapping up on Saturday night, under the lights.
